Winter Masquerade Ball results

The first Winter Masquerade Ball of “Save Life” took place on December 4 at the Radisson Blu Leogrand Hotel. Young talented stars of Moldova Eva Timush and Angelina Polikarpova served as the good-will ambassadors of the evening. It was also supported by Mrs Olga Tapiola, wife of the European Union Ambassador to the Republic of Moldova.

This fairy-tale evening was attended by 160 guests, among them – government ministers, foreign diplomats accredited to the Republic of Moldova, the representatives of local and foreign business community from the European Business Association and the American Chamber of Commerce, and the media. Our guests enjoyed the performance of talented Eva Timush, Olga Tira, Brio Sonores, FLY dancing group, and the children from “Lia Ciocirlia” choir. One of the famous local designers Julia Allert presented her capsule collection tailored for the “Save Life!”. It will help raise additional funds for the children in need. Unforgettable Olga Tira and Sandu Scobioala, as well as a talented young gymnast Angelina Polikarpova, moderated the event.

The “Save Life” team is happy to report that the Winter Masquerade Ball helped us raise 547 200 MLD. This will enable the “Save Life” to help 6 children in need.

It was made possible due to the participation fees, the main and silent auctions and additional personal donations. The main auction was of particular importance that night. The two tickets to the concert of Adnrea Bocellii, kindly offered by our partner “Piata de Vacante” travel agency, were sold at the highest price. We are also grateful for other unique lots sold on that night: a bottle of a 17-year old cognac received from Rasul Gamzatov, kindly granted by Mr Petru Luchinschi; jewellery pieces from LUXURY PLAZA, a set of four black and white photos produced by H.E. Ambassador Pirkka Tapiola, a private plane trip granted by the Fedebratio of Parachute Sport of the Republic of Moldova and “Ekipaj” Air-Club, a Venetian hand-made mask by the Moldovan artist Mr Nikolai Latunov, an artistic photo by Vlaiku Bunduki and two vases by Eleonora Soroca.
