“Mesto”, the place which helps children from “Save Life”

We are happy to share the result of the first months of the “Mesto”, the only charity shop in Moldova. The shop was opened only in September and 50,000 lei are the first donation listed for our wards. This amount of money is intended for the Garabagiu family, where they are waiting for the birth of their beloved daughter. Waits and fears. Because immediately after birth, the girl will need a series of surgeries, one of which must be carried out in the first days or hours of life.

How does “Mesto” works? Everyone who wants to donate to the store used things, books, household items may go there and bring them. In the store all the items are selled, and all the profit is transferred to charity, including to the NGO “Save Life”.

We want to say about how hearty and interesting it is in “Mesto”. This is not just a shop, it is a platform, where are held great workshops for children and adults, lecture-discussions on current topics, seminars for parents. Their experiences with the guests of  Mesto have shared designer, psychologist, calligrapher and photographer. It was great!

We are very thankful to the initiative group of the shop for such positive ideas and warm deeds!
