CORPORATE CHARITY TENNIS CHALLENGE 2015
“Corporate Charity Tennis Challenge” has been held between April 27th– May 3rd on the tennis courts of Hotel suits “ Prezident” . The tournament was organized by “ Save life” charity organization and Tennis Federation of the RM. This project is unique for our country, as the participants were legal entities with their representatives. One of the main targets of the event was to attract as many companies as possible into the charity world.
We are very glad that our appeal was taken so positively and 16 Moldovan organizations joined the project. We hope that next year we will have more participants, who will be willing to help in saving children’s lives.
The motto of the project was “ Tennis choice is to save lives” , and the only aim we had – to collect funds for covering costs of treatment for 3 children. Among them, Jenya Hamitkii, 2 years old, Nikita Vozian, 12 years old, and Andrey Catarau, 2 years old. All three have serious diseases and donation received from participants of “Corporate Charity Tennis Challenge” was a tangible contribution.
On May 4th official closing ceremony of the charity tournament took place in “Codru” hotel.. The event was honored by the presence of Mr. Radu Rebeja, Chief Advisor of the Prime Minister of the RM for the problems of youth and sports, Mr Pavel Chetreanu and Vitaliy Savciuc, both representatives of the Ministry of Youth and Sports, Mrs. Larisa Popova and Mr. Nicolai Ambrosi, representatives of the National Olympic & Sport Committee, Mrs Marina Tauber, President of the TFM, and Aliona Bercaci, President of the charity organization “ Save life”.
Participation of local singers stars Olia Tira and Cristi Ruj could not be missing on such great evening. They always supported events of “Save life” and TFM. The moderators were Cristi Ruj and Andrey Doba.
The participants of the tournament were divided in 3 groups, and therefore we had 3 winners. All participants were awarded with cups, diplomas, and valuable prizes.

Families of the beneficiary children were present at the tournament. They were so grateful to the organizers and participants for the offered support, which can help in making their dreams come true- to see their child healthy.
The collected amount was 118 thousand MDL, but unfortunately this is enough to cover only part of the costs of those 3 children. And now we call on all to help us collecting missing amount for 2 operations. 375 thousand MDL are still needed for Jenea and Nikita. Each penny counts!
We are very grateful to all participants of the project, that they found time in their busy agenda, showed desire and came on the tennis courts.
