Andreea has imperfect osteogenesis, her bones being very fragile. She has had many fractures untill now, and as a consequence her left leg is shorter than another one. She can not walk.

On October 14th Andrea was operated in Bucharest in Medlife clinic. The intervention was done on the femoural bone of the left leg with introduction of a telescopic stick, which will make the leg longer and protect it from the fractures and deformations. For 4 weeks she will have to stay in plaster, after which she will try to step on her feet and learn walking again. Doctors recommended to install similar stick into her right leg, to make both legs stronger and exclude fractures.

Andrea’s parents and she personally are very grateful to all who offered support and made this operation possible. We wish her soon recovery!
