Boboc Dragosh, 7 years

Dragosh is only 7 years old. The most terrible tragedy already happened in his life. When he was 3, he lost his mom. Once active and joyful boy, Dragosh was traumatized by sudden changes in his life and developed speech problems. His grandmother took care of him and his older brother. She did everything to slowly turn Dragosh back to a normal life. He went to a kindergarten, became fond of music and Lego puzzles, played in the matinees, and became very close to his brother. But speech problems remained. In May 2012, Dragosh fell from a playground slide and stopped talking at all.

The examination showed that Dragosh’s hearing is only at 25% from normal. Previous stress has only added to his condition which now prevents the boy from developing normally.

At this time, Dragosh is under supervision of a speech therapist, a neurologist and psychologist. He is also wearing a prescribed hearing aid device. The device was donated to them by another family who raises their own child with a hearing loss impairment. Dragosh is in a need of his personal device, a device that will help him to learn, listen to the music and communicate with his friends. The new hearing aid device costs 54,760 lei. This is an enormous amount for the grandmother who is raising two kids alone. NGO «Save Life» has already started assisting Dragosh. We bought medicines in amount of 4,000 lei, and, with your help, hope to purchase a hearing aid device so Dragosh could hear a dear voice of his grandmother and brother.
