Gotishan Sofia, 3 years
Even before birth, on scheduled screening, foetus was diagnosed with possible congenital heart disease. Unfortunately during first life hours the diagnosis proved. Being only 17-days old girl endured surgery.
Parents brought Sofia to Chisinau for necessary medical examination every three months. At the age of two years girl endured examination of heart cavities.
It seems like everything was good, parents do believed that daughter will survive disease by her own. One night changed everything. Sofia couldn’t breathe normally and her life was in danger again. Parents were extremely concerned and came for medical examination in Kiev.
After examination and surgical aorta expansion radiography, became clear that girl needs urgent correction of congenital heart disease surgery.
We need to save this girl, the situation is really very grave. Sofia feels very bad. Her family is in difficult financial situation.
We start fundraising to save Sofia in the amount of 158 000 MDL and appeal to our Life-savers for help.
