Pushkin’s Winter Charity Ball
The third Charity Ball will meet you with the fascinating and full of romantics atmosphere of Pushkin’s epoch. We invite you to join the world of early 19th century created by the music of symphony orchestra, theater sketches and romances, based on the creations of the Great Poet. You are welcome to check your knowledge about life of genius Pushkin in the intellectual game “Logic”. We will not reveal all the secrets, but there are many more interesting entertainments arranged for our guests. Charity auction will take place at the end of Charity Ball according to the tradition.
Third Charity Ball will be held under the patronage of Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Russian Federation to the Republic of Moldova Mr. Oleg Vasnetsov, together with Pushkin International Foundation with participation of poet’s lineal descendants – Alexander Pushkin and Maria-Madlen Pushkina-Durnovo. Russian Center of Science and Culture in the Republic of Moldova will support organization of Charity Ball as well.
Traditionally, Winter Charity Ball will be organized with the purpose to raise funds in favor of seriously ill children in need of medical care. This year administration of Maternal and Child Medical Centre applied to “Save Life” requesting support children with diabetes. Annually about 500 children are diagnosed and treated at the Hospital. The qualified medical staff of the hospital does everything so that children receive services at a high level. But there are modern technologies that will reduce or eliminate the risk of chronic complications and deaths. For this to be achieved is extremely necessary to acquire two systems iPro2 (for permanent monitoring of glucose level), as well as special glucose sensors for individual usage.

Dress code: black tie. Attributes of XIX century – gloves, fan and top hats are highly recommended.
