Afanasiev Beatrice, 11 months

Beatrice Afanasiev is only 11 months. Recently she was diagnosed with Wilms tumor in the left kidney. Her family keeps looking for clinic, where the little baby-girl can be operated. After many efforts, they received answer from specialized clinic in Italy „Bambino Gesu”. Doctors recommend to perform operation and chemotherapy ASAP. The cost is 38 543 EUR. This is incredibly high amount for the young family. Mother- is taking care of the daughter, and the father is a school teacher. Grandfather of Beatrice is also very ill. Father is struggling between hospitals of his father in Causani and his daughter. Currently Beatrice is in the Oncologic Institute in the pediatric department. She started first cycle of chemotherapy. Our doctors cannot operate so small patient. The only chance is to get the operation in another clinic abroad.

To help Beatrice we are announcing a fund-raising campaign for 200 000 lei which will go for a partial payment of the family’s hospital bill. We call for help for this little girl. Any amount donated is a little step to save life of Beatrice.
