Today, we would like to introduce you to a little girl with the sunny name Elena. Lena is just beginning to explore the world; she is just a 16 month old. This baby is inquisitive, active, kind and in love with the cats and cartoons.

Lena was diagnosed with the congenital heart defect on the third day of her life. Little girl is suffering from the rapid breathing at night, sweating. Poor health interferes to her normal development. Parents are very worried about their baby. Sometimes she is holding her breath for a long unnatural period of time, and it is very scaring for her mom and dad. After the consultations in the Center of Children’s Heart Diseases in Kiev it has become very clear that girl needs an urgent surgery to help avoid serious complications in the future.

The surgery costs 4787 Euros (~ 90 000 lei).
