Bordei Ion, 17 years

Ana Morari, asked us for help. She is a single mother of five. Her elder son, Ion, needs an eye surgery to recover his vision.

Ion is 17 years old. He was born healthy. Unfortunately, when he was 6 years old, he accidentally hurt his eye with a knife. On the same day an emergency surgery was performed, but the consequences were inevitable. A year later, his vision began to deteriorate, and he developed cataract. Over time, he began to see so badly with his second eye.

Ion graduated school, and became a chef. However, his eye problem doesn’t allow him to work. Ion helps her mother to raise his brothers and sisters, the youngest of which is 2 years old.

Anna doesn’t have money to cover the cost of the surgery, so she asked for our help. Thus we are asking you to help Ion to get his eyesight back and be a healthy adult and capable to continue his duties in their family.
