Buhna Alina, 2 years

Parents of 2 years old Alina addressed to us recently for help. In April they learnt about striking diagnosis of their daughter: retinoblastoma (eye cancer). Immediately after the treatment began- first in Moldova, than in Ukraine. Alina was operated in the Institute of eye diseases and tissues therapy V.P. Filatov in Odesa. Unfortunately one eye could not be saved. The disease showed to be stronger. But there is still hope to save the second eye. Currently Alina with her mother are at Medical Parc clinic in Istanbul, Turkey. Doctors are optimistic and do all they can to save the eye. Alina has to take 30 radiotherapy sessions.

Buhna family lives in Carpineni village , Hincesti district. Alina has smaller brother Efim, born in February this year. When learning about diagnosis, family has spent all savings they had for her treatment, as each minute of delay was dangerous. Now, Buhna family has difficult financial situation and addressed to us. Alina is very smart and smiling girl, communicative and open. She still has chances to have her second eye saved. But for the treatment 33 700 Euro are to be collected. We are addressing to all our savers with call to help Alina, opening fundraising for her for the amount of 200 000 MDL.
