Dotsu Elena, 11 years
Lena Dotsu – is an incredibly beautiful and strong girl. She is almost 12, and already for 1 year she is being fighting with acute lymphoblastic leukemia. Lena’s parents recall, that she never was health delicate child. She always preferred football and volley to quiet girl’s occupations. Even at school she played for football team.
The disease started with fatigue and dyspnea. Worried parents consulted doctors immediately. The diagnosis was set already after first analysis – “acute lymphoblastic leukemia”. Family left with no delay to Moscow, to the “N.N. Blokhin” Institute for hospitalization.
Currently, Lena has finished first treatment protocol with 6 blocks of high dosage chemotherapy. The second block and radiotherapy are the next. Lena needs support of warm hearted people. Lena’s parents are collecting funds for the treatment with efficient, but also expensive drugs. This is the only remaining chance for their daughter.
The cost of the vital chemotherapy block is 300 000 RUB (~ 86 000 MDL).
