Emilian Mihalachi is 3 months old. From his birth he has glaucoma in both eyes. This is a genetically determined disease from the maternal grandfather. All men in their family were born with glaucoma. Unfortunately Emilian was born with the same problem.

The baby was born very hard: at first – the pregnancy was very difficult and then – his birth. During his birth a mechanical asphyxia as a cord entanglement around his neck has been occurred. Apart from this Emilian has a heart complication now.

«Ovisus» clinic is able to help the baby to save his eyesight. The surgery cost is 21 680 Ley. The parents are not able to cover the surgery’s cost, they have four children. Farther works from time to time. Mother is on maternity leave.

The surgery was supposed to be conducted immediately after his birth. But on that time the parents did not know where to address for help. This was the reason why the assistance was not provided duly.
