Fundraising for Valentin Portean is now closed

We are closing the fundraising for Valentin Portean today. He is suffering from Duchenne muscular dystrophy (pseudohypertrophy). We have been able to collect more than half of the necessary amount for the first part of treatment, and the rest will be covered by the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Moldova and his parents.

In the nearest future this boy will go to the European Medical Academy (Poland, Swiebodzice) for the treatment, which will stop the disease progression and will strengthen Valentine’s muscles. If everything goes as planned, in the future he can have the surgery he needs.

On behalf of our Organization and his parents, we would like to thank everyone who helped to raise the funds for Valentines’ treatment, who gave him a chance for a new life, a life without the wheelchair.
