The severely ill children of Moldova need help. Right now.

Part 2. Valeria.

How many of us can say aloud that they are happy? That we have everything for happiness. It takes many things to be happy: beauty and money and love and travels and spare time and continuous sunshine… Or maybe everything is much more simple?

At 10 years old, Valeria Cozari is not afraid to say that she is happy and we believe her. Because Valeria knows much more about pain than any kid of her age should. She passed though fire and won.

Valeria was always a happy, active child, she liked to run and dance. However, 2 years ago, the girl was diagnosed with Paroxysmal supraventricular tachycardia. This is a severe heart disease, which could not be cured in Moldova. Any physical effort or emotion could cause a crisis lasting 6 to 8 hours, her heart rates rising up to 240 beats per minute. In time, the crises could become more frequent and the most significant risk was a heart attack.

Valeria’s parents got over the tears and despair. They gathered the needed money for a first surgery in Israel by themselves. But the surgery failed. A second try was needed, but there was simply no more money in the family. That’s when the parents contacted “Save life” NGO. And that’s when things changed for better. Unknown people, with their own families and lives, absolute strangers, but with warm hearts, found out Valeria’s story and donated as much as they could.

With the collected amount, Valeria went through a successful treatment. Today, she is healthy, successful in everything she does and, step by step, she will run and dance as much as she wants too.

Valeria knows too well that human care and solidarity can save lives. She accepted to shoot this video because she knows how much it means to receive help, when needed.
